Unit 10 / Ocean Front, Ground Floor

Amazing trip to CCC (we have been here multiple times)
We stayed in unit 10 and it was great

Will return again!

Overall we love it. The people in the office and the cleaning staff are awesome. The condo is a little more tired than it was last time we were there. Things like utensils had some food caked on them, etc. The condo could use a few more nice 'touches' like board games, cards, etc. The bed in the master sags and is extremely uncomfortable, although it was uncomfortable last time we were there. Overall, we like this unit and with a few fixes it could be great.
The amenities are nice, beach is nice although it is definitely rockier in the water than it was last time, but that changes all the time. We never use the pool because why would you in Cayman but it is very pretty. I appreciate that there are floats to use because those can be very hard to pack.
I think the main thing that we would change, is make the patios screened. It is the one thing that other condos have over this property. The mosquitoes are outrageous, and the MINUTE the sun starts to go down they are all over you. If you like to sit out at that lovely part of the day, you really can't because of the bugs. Other properties have screened porches and we really like that. A washer in the unit would also be helpful, but there is a common one if you want.
The last thing is that the view is stunning, but one of the owners had a giant float that he put out in the ocean that they used on the weekend but then it sat there all week unused and we had to look at it floating there all week slowly deflating. I would say when you are not using it, it should be taken in. It obscured a lot of our photographs.

Christopher Columbus has a spectacular beach and pool. The wading pool is a hit with the grandkids. Having a ground floor unit is super convenient to get to both the beach and the pool. The staff are kind and go out of their way to make sure you're happy. Josephine was excellent!

This is our 3rd trip to your condo's, we love the spacious interior, the beautiful beach, and the location.

The condo was very clean. The staff was very congenial and helpful. The grounds were exceptional.

We brought our grandchildren for their first time to Christopher Columbus and they had a wonderful time. We as grandparents have been coming for 20 or more years. The staff is remarkable and very accommodating. #10 and #9 are our favorites. Jenica and Charley are so welcoming and treated us like family. Our housekeepers were always willing to come back if we weren’t ready for them. The island has grown beyond belief but our memories will always be great ones. Thank you CC for being a “constant” in such a growing and changing world!

Have stayed at Christopher Columbus several time since first visiting Grand Cayman 8n 5he mid 80’s. We love 5his area of 7 Mile Beach and the units here are beautifully maintained with friendly helpful staff and thorough attentive daily housekeeping.

Our week At Christopher Columbus was spectacular! The property is located on one of the nicest stretches of the 7 mile beach that is just far enough from town to avoid the crowds and traffic from the cruise ships. We will definitely be back!

Love the Christopher Columbus. Great pool, great beach, some of the best snorkeling right out in front of the condo. Staff super friendly and helpful. Good location to get to many great dinners, a fabulous vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Unit 10. It was super clean, updated, fully stocked with appliances, pans, and dishes- we felt completely at home. The beds were very comfortable and there was excellent housekeeping service provided each day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this unit again!

It was fantastic and the people were great. Lisa is the best. The cleaning lady was soo nice and I could not ask for a better experience.
