If you’re looking for an authentic Caymanian experience filled with delicious food, vibrant culture, and island traditions, Coco Fest is an event you won’t want to miss. Hosted annually, this festival is all about the coconut—an iconic staple of Caribbean life. Coco Fest draws locals and visitors alike for a day filled with coconut-inspired dishes, artisanal creations and live entertainment by Cayman’s best farmers, small businesses and musicians. Whether you’re a foodie, a history buff, or in search of a fun, family-friendly event, Coco Fest offers something for everyone.

The festival takes place at the historic Pedro St. James Castle in Savannah, an 18th-century great house that’s considered the “Birthplace of Democracy” in the Cayman Islands. This stunning location sits high atop the cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Multiple areas of the property are put to use over the weekend, including Thatch & Barrel restaurant serving their own coconut-inspired food and beverages, whereas both the Great Lawn and Courtyard are home to a number of vendors on the day.
