Baby Moon in Grand Cayman

Are you looking for the perfect Baby Moon destination? If the answer is yes, then this blog is for you. One of the best things you can do for you and your significant other before having your first bundle of joy is to plan a Baby Moon. It’s a last big hoorah, a trip of a lifetime that’s just the two of you. Grand Cayman makes for an incredible Baby Moon. Here are just a few reasons why.
Seven Mile Beach
First and foremost you simply have to experience Seven Mile Beach. Its beauty and allure are the highlight of any trip to Grand Cayman. It’s an amazing place to celebrate this special moment in time for your party of two that’s about to become three.
We have one of the most expansive beachfronts along Seven Mile Beach and only 30 units, so you’ll get to kick back in peace without the huge crowds. Prop those tired feet up in one of our signature blue loungers under the shade of one of our many thatched huts and peer out to the turquoise waters.
Top-rated snorkeling is available right from our shorefront which is great since the momma-to-be likely won’t be up for more adventurous water activities. Simply walk into the sea with a snorkel set, dip your face in and enjoy the underwater sights! Using a full-face mask may make the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable. These can be rented from local shops like Paradise Paddle as well as full snorkel sets. Paradise Paddle also delivers directly to the condos.

Condo Comforts
Our condos offer indulgent relaxation. Available in two and three bedroom units, the two bedroom works great for a couple looking for a prime location on Seven Mile Beach, privacy and space. (Use the extra bedroom to store your luggage, so you’ll have loads of room in the master bedroom.) The open concept plan of the kitchen, dining and living room creates a wonderful flow.
Come and go from the condo to the beach all day long. All units are mere steps from the beach. You can brew fresh coffee in the morning (if you’re partaking) and take it to the beach to breathe in the majestic view and soothing sounds of the sea. Make pancakes together or your favorite breakfast in the kitchen. Plan easy lunches and romantic dinners in. If you and yours like to cook on vacation, enjoy the fully equipped kitchen. If not, order in using an app like Bento or Let’s Eat.
Prenatal Massage
There are several spas that offer prenatal massages and treatments. No. 11 Spa even offers something for Dads-to-be. An entire section of their menu is dedicated to “The Mamas & the Papas.” With 60 minute to 90 minute sessions like Mamas Bespoke Facial to Mamas Prenatal Massage and Papas Bespoke Massage you’re sure to find a way to treat yourself—AND you deserve it!
A couple of additional spas that offer prenatal services include the Spa at Seafire and Touch of Thai. Whether you’re the one carrying a tiny human or the one supporting mama, now is the time for pampering; but of course before signing up consult your doctor.

Mocktails
Grand Cayman is known as the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean, and of course along with creators of the best food come mixologists making incredible drinks to compliment. The island’s mixologists use their creativity to make indulgent refreshments including some of the best mocktails you’ll ever have!
Many restaurants have a mocktail section on their menu, but even if they don’t just ask. Most will be happy to make you a delightful number that plays nicely with a Baby Moon. Ask for a non-alcoholic Mudslide just about anywhere on island and thank us later.

Date Night
Grand Cayman is known as the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean. There are a plethora of amazing restaurants to have one, two or as many date nights out as you’d like. For Grand Cayman classics hit up Pappagallos, Casanova or Grand Old House. Or try a fresh new concept like Kojima Izakaya, Mykonos Steak Club or Bonny Moon. Take your time and enjoy.
Take it Nice & Easy
The key part of any Baby Moon is to take it nice and easy and to soak up time together. Before you make your plans make sure to consult with your doctor and get the go ahead. Of course as a tropical location, it can get quite warm and sunny here; so an extra dose of taking it slow is in order for the expecting mom.
Once you have the all clear from your physician look no further than Christopher Columbus Condos on Seven Mile Beach. By the time you leave you’ll be dreaming of coming back as a party of three. And the great news? Grand Cayman is a fantastic destination for families!
